Step 1: Inquiry
The first step is to fill out our consultation request. Let us know your ideas or ask us questions. We're excited to work with you!
Step 2: Consultation
During the consultation step, the architect will meet with the client to discuss the project in detail. This is an opportunity for the client to ask questions and get clarification on the project. The architect will also use this time to get to know the client and their needs.
Step 3: Design & Feedback Loop
One of the most important steps in the design process is the development of a clear and achievable design. This design will identify the project requirements, including the function, form and context of the development. This involves the development of initial ideas and concepts for the project. These concepts are then refined and developed into a more detailed design.
Step 4: Finalize Plans
This involves making sure that all of the design elements are in place and that the design meets all of the requirements. This step is done with the both input from the client and the architect.
Step 5: Construction Planning
The first step in construction is planning to create a construction schedule. This schedule outlines the sequence of construction activities and the timeline for each activity. The schedule is created by the architect and is approved by the client.
Step 6: Construction Oversight
One of the most important steps is ensuring that the construction team understands the drawings and specifications. This step is critical in ensuring that the construction project is completed correctly and on time. The construction team must review the drawings and specifications thoroughly and ask questions if anything is unclear. The architects and engineers should also be available to answer any questions the construction team may have.
